There are 3 basic ways we have been working so far:
1. Setting up a web site with resources and useful links
2. Providing workshops for teachers to learn to use technology effectively and efficiently.
3. Offering group discounts on Microsoft licensing for software.
We have also offered old but still useful computers to schools in our district that had very little in the way of technology. We have not only donated them but have helped set them up. There continues to be opportunities for putting usable older hardware to work at schools who don’t have the resources for new stuff. If you know of someone who could benefit from refurbished systems please let us know.
We are looking for new ways to help serve you. We’d like to come to where you are if you can’t send your teachers to one of the workshops we already offer. We are looking for possible sites near you where a computer lab is available. If you have lab or know of a school in your region that has one and would like to invite our team to come help your staff grow in their use of technology in education we’d love to hear from you.
